Christmas Oasis Features Drive-Thru Lightfest, Photos With Santa, Live Music, S’mores Station, Local Artisan Shops, and Seasonal Food & Drink

AUGUSTA, NJ – October 10, 2022 – Are you ready to kick off the holiday season with the wildly popular Light Show and Christmas Village? Sussex County’s favorite stadium will once again play host to this dazzling winter wonderland, showcasing a mile-long drive-thru course glittering with displays and an enchanting Christmas Village full of fun-filled activities, delicious treats, memory-making photo ops, and much more.

The Light Show & Christmas Village is running on select dates and times from November 23 – December 30 – open rain, snow, or shine. The Christmas Village opens at 5:00 pm. Tickets for the Light Show cost $29 per carload and both admission to the Outdoor Christmas Village and parking are free. VIP tickets – allowing one drive-thru any day and time regardless of time slot – cost $79 per carload. Tickets are being sold in increments of 15 minutes and MUST be purchased online at lightshow.skylandsstadium.com – printed and mobile tickets are accepted.

Let’s get into the holiday spirit at Skylands Stadium!”

To start your experience, drive through a mile-long course brilliantly lit by more than two million lights. While traveling onto the Miners’ baseball field and Sussex County’s glimmering highway, everyone will be mesmerized by dazzling light displays ranging from two fully enclosed light tunnels and a wreath arch to skating bears, an elf riding a scooter, a Big Wheel (which offers an incredible view of the Village and drive-thru at the top), and more. Following this experience, visitors can pull up to Skylands Stadium’s Outdoor Christmas Village and discover even more holiday festivities.

This event boasts a wide variety of attractions, activities, and delectable goodies. Visitors can enjoy shopping opportunities, play chef and create holiday goodies, listen to live music, and so much more. Families and friends can take selfies and other fun photographs of themselves hanging out with “Champ” the polar bear that is eight feet tall! Saving the best for last, visitors can meet Santa Claus and take photos.

You can’t have a great event without some great food and beverages. Anybody driven by their sweet tooth is invited to take a seat at the S’mores Station and toast marshmallows over a comfortably warm fire pit. For those looking for something heartier, there will be a tantalizing selection of hot food and beverages. Double S Smokehouse will be cooking up its fantastic barbeque, and reservations will be accepted. And if the need to feed is still there, visitors can stop by the Ice Cream Shop and Hot Chocolate Bar and enjoy delicious ice cream and custom-made hot chocolate drinks. Kids can add finishing touches to their desserts including sprinkles, marshmallows, and other sweet bits and pieces. Meanwhile, the grownups can heat up their beverages with shots of Irish cream, Sambuca, and other liquors.
